Ear Lobe Repair

October 14, 2011

Do you have some nice earrings that you would like to wear during the holidays but find that you can not because the hole in your ear lobe is too large? Schedule to have that enlarged hole repaired now and you can be wearing those earrings this holiday season!

Many patients with pierced ears complain about the holes becoming too large. These enlarged holes may be from the ear ring getting pulled or from wearing heavy ear rings that enlarge the hole. Recently we have seen some patients who had gauges in their ears to create large holes but now find they no longer want the large holes. The large holes are easily repaired in our office under a local anaesthetic. The skin around the hole is excised (cut out) using delicate instruments and then the hole is sewed using very fine suture material. The stitches stay in for one week. The ear can be re-pierced in two to three months after the procedure. Look at our before and after pictures under gallery in our web site. This is a simple, painless procedure that is very affordable. Call our office for more information at 972-243-4530. We would love to help you.
