Mini-Lift wins nationwide contest

March 8, 2011

Recently, The Aesthetic Guide, which is the leading aesthetic practice resource trade journal, offered a nationwide contest to physicians who performed cosmetic surgery.

The theme of the contest was “Aesthetic Patient Enhancement” and physicians were invited to send before-and-after photographs on their successes.

Best Facial RejuvenationI offered one of the examples of our mini-lift and entered it into the category of Best Surgical Facial Rejuvenation. I have just been notified that the procedure won first place in the nationwide contest.

It is certainly gratifying to see the positive response within the practice and the community for successful surgical results. However, it is even more exciting to know that a mini-lift was perceived as being a more effective surgical enhancement of the face when compared even with the most aggressive full surgical face-lifts entered.

The fact that this amount of improvement can be seen after only local anesthetic compared with others done under general anesthetic makes the award even more special.
